Safer Than Shock-Absorbing Lanyards: The Miller Turbolite Personal Fall Limiter attaches directly to the back D-Ring of the harness. This greatly reduces the hazard of tripping because the lifeline is kept up and away from the waist and legs. It also greatly reduces the fall clearance required vs. a shock-absorbing lanyard, which in turn reduces the impact when a fall is arrested. The built-in swivel also makes the Turbolite PFL more mobile than any shock-absorbing lanyard.
And More Cost-Effective: The Turbolite PFL braking system locks up within inches to suit any fall clearance situation. This eliminates the need for multiple pieces of fall protection equipment. It also saves time & money because workers aren't constantly changing gear to address changes in fall clearance. And unlike a lanyard, the TurboLite PFL does not require an annual factory recertification.

From a cost-effective standpoint the Turbolite PFL is competitively priced with shock-absorbing lanyards, and using it eliminates the need to purchase different fall protection equipment to suit different fall clearances.
